Welcome to L.I.F.E Fitness Pros Womens Fitness

If you're tired of the fad diets, magic fat loss pills and gadget of the week, then you've come to the right spot. I'm here to give you the motivation you need along with the tools and knowledge to succeed in you goals.

First lets understand there is only one way to loss weight and keep it off...eat clean and exercise. I know you hate to hear that and you've probably heard it 100 times, but its the cold hard truth:) I don't care how enticing the ads are on tv, save your money.Think about it, if you could really buy a pill that melted body fat or get a machine and use it minutes a day to get a flat stomach, don't you think everybody would be thin with a 6 pack!!

So now that I have that out of the way lets get started.

Weight loss 101

Your worth it! Lets get that in your head right know, I have talked to so many women that I feel have lost that feeling of worth. I'm not telling you anything new by saying being overweight effects a lot more than just your weight. So many of you feel so alone and defeated and even like failures. You don't feel pretty anymore, you don't have that zest for life you should. I'm telling you that can change, you can do it, I know you can. You just need to take that first step and know you're worth it and you'll be worth more to those around you as a healthy, happy woman! Stop getting down on yourself, and constantly worrying about your weight. Set yourself a long-term goal. But remember this - having a thin body will not make you happy. Only you have the power to choose to be happy (at whatever weight you are)

Sometimes we start losing weight, but we never finish. We ditch another diet. We throw in the towel on our exercise efforts. Maybe it's from outside pressure; sometimes we aren't ready to lose weight. Whatever the cause, it is not at all uncommon. That doesn't mean you're destined for failure. Even if you've started and stopped 100 times before, this time doesn't have to end the same way.

By putting some important skills to use, and remembering some positive reinforcment you will find it a little easier to stick to your weight loss efforts. You're never alone I'll be here to help you make through those hard spots.

Log your Food
Its truely the #1 reality check to help you succeed. Get a little tablet to carry with you. It only takes a second to jot down time and what you eat. You'd be surprized how this self monitoring tool helps.Keeping a food journal helps you pin point your eating pattern and will enable you to easily modify it. If possible, have a Registered Dietitian review your journal

Change your lifestyle. If you’re calling this a “diet,” then you’re going to gain all the weight back (and more) within a few months of losing it. Diets do not work. Diets are temporary. When you change your dietary lifestyle, however, you’re changing your habits - and you’re putting yourself on track for long-term / continued success and weight maintenance. Don’t ever tell anybody you’re on a diet -it will work well for awhile but will ultimately fail if you don't make a lifestyle change.

Start reading labels. I know it sucks, but you have to do it - and there’s no way to avoid this tip. If you don’t know what you’re putting in your mouth, you’re flying blind. Don’t assume, either - triple-check the ingredients list and serving sizes. You must rely on yourself for this; nobody else is going to be able to lose the weight or do the math for you.

Know your daily calorie limit.Whether it's 1700 or 2000. Knowing that number is half the battle. You can eat anything you want throughout the day, so long as you stay at or beneath that number. While you can't track 100% of the items you eat, you are able to make intake estimates - and adjust your schedule and ration your remaining calories accordingly. In this sense, you’re given extreme freedom - so long as you stay at or beneath that suggested calorie level for your plan. If you don’t know how much you’re supposed to take in, how are you supposed to know how much you’re supposed to take in?! Sounds redundant, but it’s a situation that many “dieters” are in (which is why they fail)!

Accidents will happen. One of these nights, you’re going to go out with friends and eat your weight in cheesecake along with wine or beer. Instead of repeating the overindulgence, just put yourself back on track the next day. You’re allowed to “mess up” every now and again, so long as you don’t make a habit out of consuming an excessive amount of food. Right the dining injustice immediately. You’ll be okay. You’ll be fine. Just don’t do it again. And again. And again. And again....if you do, pick yourself up each time and start AGAIN! Don't give up!
